Piedmont Social House Opening in Ayrsley

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Feb. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- New Forum, Inc., one of the main developers of the Town of Ayrsley, has announced plans to open Piedmont Social House this spring. Piedmont Social House (PSH) is a restaurant/entertainment venue that encourages socialization by way of culinary craftsmanship, handcrafted cocktails, a cultivated beer selection and multiple gaming options. PSH will be located at 2135 Ayrsley Town Blvd.

“Piedmont Social House will be an excellent dining choice in a unique atmosphere. It will also fill a large void of leisure activity that exists for residents living within the triangle between Gastonia, Ballantyne and Fort Mill,” said William Hodges, New Forum’s Broker and one of the developers of the project.

The restaurant will offer indoor and outdoor seating areas serving a modern menu influenced by traditional southern flavors. A condensed menu will be available at the bowling lanes, the pub and in the various gaming areas. Gaming includes bowling, darts, billiards, ping pong, corn hole, shuffle board and bocce ball to name a few.

Piedmont Social House will appeal to several demographics in the area including the under 35 “leisure crowd”, families with children and corporate clients. Birthday parties, board game events, neighborhood nights, live music and friendly gaming competitions are among the planned programming PSH will offer. Additionally, being located in the 2^nd largest employment district in the Carolinas, Piedmont Social House will appeal to corporate clients by offering meeting space, team building events, in-house event planning services and VIP bowling lanes.

Piedmont Social House consists of 21,000 SF of indoor space and a 5,000 SF patio. It was designed by Overcash Demmitt Architects and Concorde Construction will be the general contractor on the project.  Consulting on the project was provided by John Holden of JWH Consulting. Piedmont Social House will open Spring 2015.
