Origen Telecom attends Facebook’s Small Business Boost

MONTREAL - Feb. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- The event, which attracted large crowds of entrepreneurs, was attended by one of Canada’s leading telecommunications providers in the area. Origen has been serving SMB’s as well as large enterprises with various business telecommunications solutions, which include VoIP and Fiber internet, to help them grow and develop.

Upon attending the event that was hosted in Montreal, businesses were given the chance to captivate newer, more resourceful ideas to get the most out of the social media platform.

Attendees proudly displayed their presence on different social media pages, and the event soon trended under the hashtag #fbmontreal.

The Small Business Boost program taught small business owners how to optimize their presence on the world's largest social network, including strategies for finding new customers and deepening relationships with existing customers. With one billion registered users on Facebook, and 150 million people connecting to businesses on a daily basis, it became a necessity and not just a leisure to have a significant online presence. The core of the event was exactly this: to let enterprises benefit from the immense outreach that could result from an effective use of social media.

Jordan Banks, Global Head of Vertical Strategy and Managing Director, also expressed his views on the topic
