PRLog -- Through January 30, WORKS will match contributions, up to a total of $1000, to Operation Troop Support. The total donation will help the organization continue its work sending packages to deployed troops and providing both emotional and practical support to wounded soldiers. Jesse DeBenedictis, owner of WORKS, explains, “The entire staff at WORKS wanted some way to contribute to the well-being of North Shore communities this holiday season. This is the first year we have implemented a matching donation program, and we had no hesitation in choosing Operation Troop Support as the recipient. We knew our North Shore neighbors would come through for this worthwhile cause and we are proud to match their donations.” Based in Danvers, Massachusetts, Operation Troop Support is a 501(c)3 nonprofit; in 2014, it received the George Washington Honor Medal from the Freedom Foundation of Valley Forge for outstanding service to military troops and their family. Checks for the matching program should be made out to Operation Troop Support and then sent to WORKS c/o Troop Support, 239 Western Avenue, Essex, MA 01929 by January 30, 2015.
