UK Wedding Supplier Comparison Website In Bid To Woo Crowdfunding Investors

Jan. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- Young tech startup World of Wedmin are one of the first wedding businesses in the UK to launch a crowdfunding campaing.  With the aim of raising £100K for 12.5% equity of their wedding supplier comparison site, could this mark the arrival of the wedding industry into the vibrant, modern tech scene?

World of Wedmin have big explansion plans for their wedding supplier comparison website, including additions to the team, extra website functionality and apps, and ultimately expansion into other european countries. Since the company was established by young entrepeneur, Robin Weil, equity based crowdfunding seemed like an attractive solutiong to raising the necessary capital.

With only 15% of projects being successfully funded on equity based crowdfunding platfrom, Seedrs, World of Wedmin are facing an incredible challenge. At just less than a week into their campaign, however, they’ve already reached over 40% of their target from investors worldwide.
