Consistently high ratings on TripAdvisor show what the ‘man in the street’ thinks of Albert Table. Events, such as their Tasting Evenings, and celebratory days like Valentines and Mothering Sunday are always fully booked. But many still have not heard of this wonderful Croydon restaurant. Joby Wells, the chef and owner of Albert’s Table, says; “Everyone at the restaurant is really proud of what we do here and we just want to share our food with as many people as possible. We serve London quality food with London quality service at a very reasonable price right here in Croydon. It’s time that we weren’t Croydon’s best kept secret anymore.” Joby and his team have two menus. The House Menu changes every week, allowing the chefs to showcase different dishes and ingredients. The Destination Menu changes once every few months and features dishes from their Tasting Evenings, which take place several times a year at significant times in the harvest calendar.
