A tragedy turns into LEDSneakers, a new set of kicks !

DELAND, Fla. - Jan. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- LEDsneakers – the LED stays on – for Fun and Safety! Just plug in the USB rechargeable lithium battery!

Three years ago Stacy Bare, a teacher in Deland, FL came home very distraught, telling her husband, Kenny, that a student was hit by a car in the dark while waiting for a bus. They both felt something had to be done. That is when LEDsneakers were born.

LEDsneakers set themselves apart from many other sneakers with an On/Off switch, allowing the LEDs to stay on. They will be available in youth and adult sizes and have 7 LED light colors with flash/fade modes as well. These shoes are not pressure activated like many other sneakers on the market, a great safety benefit for riding a bike, or standing on a sidewalk. They also have a USB rechargeable lithium battery.

Kenny and Stacy Bare of LEDsneakers feel strongly enough about getting their shoes on the market, and want to hear that LEDsneakers saved at least ONE person from being hit by a car because the driver saw the person’s shoes.  These sneakers are here to give people an advantage in the dark!
