New Women’s Cancer Care Services Now Available in Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Jan. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Coastal Comprehensive Women’s Center is now open in Myrtle Beach, offering women’s cancer care services to the local community. The center will offer expert breast cancer surgery to local women, provided by a fellowship-trained breast surgeon.

Randal Croshaw, M.D., is the medical director at Coastal Comprehensive Women’s Center and a fellowship-trained and journal-published surgical breast oncologist. Dr. Croshaw specializes in the evaluation and comprehensive treatment of benign and malignant breast disease.

A native of Florence, South Carolina, Dr. Croshaw’s goal is to provide breast cancer patients a well-coordinated team approach to treatment in order to optimize their care and deliver a high level of service. He is known for taking time to explain all aspects of the care plan and offering advanced surgical procedures, when appropriate, for a better cosmetic result.

“We are proud to provide the women in our community with much needed treatment options for breast cancer,” says Dr. Croshaw. “Our center is located near Grand Strand Medical Center and Conway Medical Center, providing a convenient location for women to receive cancer care, close to home.”

Dr. Croshaw earned his medical degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia before moving on to complete a residency in general surgery at Palmetto Health Richland. He went on to complete a fellowship in surgical breast oncology at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Croshaw is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
