All funds raised at Scope for Hope will help provide screenings, treatment, follow-up care, financial assistance and educational programs to those affected by colorectal cancers in Southwest Florida. The event will feature awards for certain age categories, refreshments and chance drawings. The first 300 registered participants will receive a gift bag with race t-shirt and gifts. The pre-registration fee for adults is $30 through March 10, then $35 through March 13. Youth (17 and under) pre-registration fee for the 5K Run and 2-Mile Walk is $15 through March 10, then $20 through March 13. Race day registration fee is $40 for all ages. There are no fees for children ages 5 and under. Registration begins at 7 a.m., followed by the timed 5K run at 8 a.m. The 2-mile untimed walk begins at 8:10 a.m. and the kid’s fun run starts at 9:15 a.m. Refreshments, awards and chance drawings will follow the races.
