Todd Rooney Attends CIC Institute

WOODBRIDGE, Va. - Jan. 18, 2015 - PRLog -- Todd Rooney, CIC of the Dominion General Insurance Agency of Woodbridge, VA has successfully completed the annual continuing education requirement of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors.

To earn this prestigious designation, Mr. Rooney demonstrated his professional competence through the successful completion of the five CIC institutes and comprehensive written examinations focusing on all major fields of insurance, insurance management, and agency operations.  The Society of CIC is a key member of The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research, the nation’s preeminent provider of insurance and risk management education.  The National Alliance, requires annual attendance in the program to maintain the designation.

Todd Rooney, a 30-year veteran of the insurance industry, has been a CIC since 2001.  Mr. Rooney believes the insurance and risk management profession is best served by those who acquire and maintain a high standard of professionalism by meeting the continuing education requirements of the Certified Insurance Counselors Program.
