28 new project management works by 35 different authors added to PM World Library

PM World Collection grows to 1070 project management articles, papers & other works by 556 different authors in more than 50 countries

Jan. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Dallas, London, Sydney – PM World has announced that 28 new articles, papers and other original works about program and project management (P/PM) were added to the PM World Library (PMWL) this week.  These contributions by 35 different authors in 14 countries were published in the January 2015 edition of the PM World Journal (PMWJ).  They can now be found among the most recent papers, articles and book reviews on the PMWL home page at www.pmworldlibrary.net.

The new additions bring the total in the PM World Collection to 1070 original works by 556 different authors from 60+ countries.  The collection is growing each month by more approximately 30 new works by many different authors; of the 35 authors in December, 10 were new to the journal and library.  All works in the PMWL can be accessed at http://pmworldlibrary.net/pm-world-collection/.  Profiles of all authors in the library, along with access to their works, can be found at http://pmworldlibrary.net/author-showcase/.

According to PMWL Director David Pells, “This month saw more original additions to the PM World Library, especially from authors who have contributed many works previously including Bob Prieto, Darren Dalcher, David Hillson and Alan Stretton.  An article by Dr. Lynda Bourne in Australia on stakeholder management launched a new series of articles on that topic that she will author in 2015.”

“Several of the papers are seminal work,” Pells adds, “including Paul Giammalvo’s annual update on his project management certification benchmarking research.  Bob Prieto’s paper on uncertainty suggests that the odds are stacked against major projects and Stanislaw Gasik’s paper on knowledge management suggests that latest PMBOK Guide has overlooked an important topic. These are important papers.”

New authors in January includeBonnie Coker (USA), Douglas Dodd (USA), Phil Driver (New Zealand), T.D. Jainendrakumar (India), Dan Murphy (USA), Ian Seath (UK), Dennis Sheehan (UK), Mike Sicilia (USA), John Vickery (Ireland) and Tim Wasserman(USA).New works from 25 authors already included in the library were also added.

In addition to original papers, 40+ news articles were added to the library archives this month, bringing the total to well over 1,200 articles.  News archives can be accessed at http://pmworldlibrary.net/ppm-news/.  See archives of past editions of the PMWJ at http://pmworldlibrary.net/ppm-journals-and-magazines/.
