BENGALURU, India - Jan. 1, 2015 - PRLog -- Bangalore, India, December 17, 2014: Leading GATE coaching institution, The GATE Academy, has announced its latest initiative in helping GATE aspirants prepare for the all India competitive examination in Engineering. The new initiative is a Live Chat session for prospective GATE 2015 candidates, with an aim to clarify exam related queries and offer an insight into effective preparation techniques.

Vinod Datusliya, who secured All India Rank #1 in the GATE 2013 in Mechanical Engineering, led the first live chat session, held in October 2014. Supporting the initiative through a live chat on a popular social networking site, Datusliya interacted with GATE 2015 aspirants, answering their questions and giving them tips on effective preparation.

According to the reports in the past year, only 16.84% of the candidates who appeared for the examination cleared it. This just highlights the degree of competiveness this test witnesses and the rigorous preparation it requires. In order to help students secure a better percentile in 2015, The GATE Academy has taken this interactive initiative to provide students a platform to have their questions answered regarding all aspects of the exam.

According to Vinod Datusliya, “First of all, I would like to tell you all that there is no secret that will help you crack the GATE. Consistent studies throughout the available preparation time, followed by a proper exam strategy, could land you a good rank in the GATE 2015. Try to pick out good reference books, and start by studying from them. It is essential to understand the basic physics behind the concepts, rather than blindly memorising them. By following this, you will be able to solve different difficulty grades of problems in the exam. One needs to prepare for at least 8 – 9 hours a day, to secure a good rank.”

The endeavour was a huge success, with over 150 queries exchanged on the social forum. The GATE Academy hopes that students will draw from Vinod’s experience and expertise and be more confident while sitting for the exam, paving the way for better scores and a better career path in terms of a better ratio of admissions into the country’s top post graduate colleges and jobs at the nation’s reputed PSUs.
