Students, Alumni from NYC Public Schools to Perform Alongside Renowned Artists at Fundraising Event

NEW YORK - Dec. 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Scheduled to take place on Tuesday, January 6th, 2015 from 7-10PM at New York City's renowned 1 OAK, FutureArt 2015 presented by Bai (http://www.drinkbai.com/) will feature a special live music performance by Brainfeeder recording artist, Taylor McFerrin, and a special panel discussion on arts education featuring James Kim, Executive Director of Bridging Education & Art Together; Brent Rollins, Creative Director at Complex Magazine; Bobby Jones, Vice President at Octagon, Isa Rosenbloom, Director of Partnerships at The Feast, Michael Zussman Of Counsel at Cowan DeBaets Abrahams & Sheppard LLP, and Todd Wahnish, award winning artist, animator, and founder of Aarting.com. Critically-acclaimed painter Yoon Hyup (http://www.yoonhyup.com/) is confirmed to debut an exclusive work of art the evening of FutureArt 2015, which will be made available for silent auction to benefit Bridging Education & Art Together.

Artists performing at FutureArt 2015 Presented by Bai include Erica Lee, Jae Kyo Han, Chesney Snow, WHY, Mike Supreme, Adam Matta, and students apart of Bridging Education & Art’s BEAT Rhymers program.

FutureArt 2015 presented by Bai is a special event asking a group of New York City's rising artists to step outside of their comfort zone, by collaborating with fellow artists to create an interactive, emotional work of art, pulling together from unlimited possibilities to express their art including music, dance, spoken word, film, painting, and other forms of fine art. After six weeks of collaboration, artists will present at FutureArt 2015, where a special guest panel of judges, alongside the event's audience, will select one artist to take home the event's grand prize including the FutureArtist 2015 Award, a prize package from the event's sponsors, and a one-year public relations contract with NY-based corporate communications firm Lawrence Blake Group Int'l.

Tickets for FutureArt 2015 will be available for purchase.
