Windover Construction Answers Questions on Turner Hill’s New Construction

IPSWICH, Mass. - Dec. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- 1. How will this new construction project differ from the current homes at Turner Hill?

We have a new architect, KAO Design Group who we are working closely with and have confidence will provide us with the innovative ideas we need to see this project through. They have worked on a number of amazing projects in New England and understand the historical charm of Turner Hill that we are trying to display.

We are taking the quality of this construction project to a new level to bring a sense of neighborhood for these new home owners. These homes will be spread through four distinct neighborhoods (The Hills, The Gardens, The Village and The Fairways) all which provide a variety of settings that include outdoor spaces. This will allow for less density as we have fewer homes in the overall master plan of this project.

2. What are the different styles and offerings being built to provide residents with a variety?

Within the 41 new homes to be built, there will be a range of sizes and styles for residents to select. The single family home options range from 2,500 square feet located in The Village to approximately 4,000 square feet located in The Hills. There will be attached villas that range from 2,000 square feet located in The Fairways to 2,500 square feet homes located in The Gardens which also include basements. Our goal with this new project is to offer a variety in pricing and space for potential homeowners who are looking for their forever home.

3. How will this construction showcase the “New England Charm” of this residential course as well as part of Ipswich?

We are attempting to marry classic New England style with the opportunities presented by the land and the exquisite views. Through the new design response of the variety of homes and styles and the relation to the golf course and the central green will help showcase the properties natural beauty. It is our mission to honor the historical value of the original mansion and to scale and proportion the homes to tie into the class look of Ipswich homes.

4. Describe similar projects Windover has completed that may be similar to the luxurious offerings that will be built at Turner Hill?

We have worked on many high-end custom single family homes in addition to some of the previous development projects:

·       Summer Hill, Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA

·       Shore Cliff, Magnolia Village, MA

·       The Boulders, Wenham, MA

5. What is it that homeowners are currently looking for that will be available with these new homes?

Homeowners can expect spacious open floor plans and plenty of room for family and friends to gather, including finished basements along with outdoor living space with porches and decks. These homes include first floor master suites along with high quality materials, appliances and finishes. Homeowners can expect less maintenance and to be part of the Condominium Association.

6. How do you feel that these new homes will differ from other development projects from a buyer’s prospective?

Quality of construction we produce is real and not just advertised. Windover stands behind its work and we stress that buyers should know that any issues or concerns will be addressed. Turner Hill is one-of-a-kind in its amenities and offerings provided by The Golf Club in addition to the amount of open space and preserved land.

7. Any additional information about the new residential offerings and planning process that you would like the public to know?

A master plan study was first undertaken to assess the existing layout, and also to guide the creation of an atmosphere context that will be fresh and active, while also remaining respectful of the history of this Great Estate property.
