Bumblebee Batteries Makes Advances in Battery Testing Technology This December

PORTLAND, Ore. - Dec. 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Bumblebee Batteries is excited to announce recent advancements in their proprietary battery testing methods and software. The advancements allow the company to more accurately analyze and the electrical characteristics of individual component cells, giving their customers a better performing and longer lasting battery. The effort to make improvements in the testing process began this summer and finished this month.

According to Eli Pruett, owner of Bumblebee Batteries, the hybrid battery manufacturer is always working to provide a battery with the best performance to their customers and is continually making efforts to improve battery performance, reliability, and durability.

Batteries contain a number of individual cells which together create the voltage that the battery provides. The better the individual cells are matched and balanced together, the better the battery will ultimately perform. Newly updated software allows computer to best match cells.

Two hundred megabytes of data about each cell in the batteries are gathered and measured, including, but not limited to, the capacity, the resistance, and the watt hours (which is the length of time a given voltage will be able to sustain). Bumblebee Batteries went from a 10 bit system to a 16 bit system -– which makes battery testing much more accurate. The company now has the most accurate testing technology in the industry.
