The new space will be about 2,700 square feet, making it significantly larger than its current location. The move is set for the month of June.

Since 2012, Bumblebee Batteries has provided Portland residents and online customers with replacement Honda hybrid batteries for their Honda Insights and Civics. The company claims that it has experienced significant growth in the last two years, and has been on the hunt for a larger space for the convenience of its customers.

"Bumblebee Batteries has been looking for a new space for a while, and the perfect space popped up so [we] grabbed it," says the CEO of Bumblebee Batteries, Eli Pruett.

The new store's central location will make access easier for clients, and the extra room will allow the company to display more of its hybrid batteries. The company also explains that the need for a larger operating space stems from an exponential increase in the demand for hybrid car batteries.

The expansive new location will aid the company's effort to develop more batteries and offer a sizable selection of batteries to its customers. In addition, the increased space opens up possibilities of new development projects.

Bumblebee Batteries currently sells two different batteries for purchase, namely the MAX-IMA™ Replacement IMA Battery for Honda Insight, and the MAX-IMA™ Replacement IMA Battery for Honda Civic Hybrid. Each battery provides 8.0 amp hours and 25% more plate surface area, a feature that helps the battery eclipse the power output of the car's original battery. The company also claims its replacement batteries deliver a 30% increase in lifespan compared to a factory-installed hybrid battery.

These batteries come with a three-year warranty, and customers can also inquire about an extended warranty.
