2014 Serious Coffee Barista Latte Art Show and Contest

VANCOUVER ISLAND, British Columbia - Dec. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- The contest is designed to focus attention on the skill level required and attained by their Baristas that can be found in every Serious Coffee cafe on Vancouver Island. Serious Coffee knows many of their staff are very accomplished latte artists, while others are still mastering the skill and the rest are somewhere in between. They don't care how accomplished a latte artist they are; however what they do care about is the fact that the staff are trying and always improving.

Each day, Serious Coffee will post the submitted Latte Art photos to Serious Coffee's Twitter account, @Serious_Coffee and Twitter fans will be able to “Favourite” the ones they like best. Whomever receives the most “Favourites” each day, will be entered to into the Grand Prize draw. The Grand Prize is a day trip to Serious Coffee Head Office in Duncan, BC for a tour of the Roasting Plant to gain firsthand knowledge about their very unique coffee roasting process, participation in a complete cupping session, lunch at a popular local restaurant, while earning a full day's wages, all compliments of Serious Coffee Head Office. A maximum of 10 winners will be eligible for the Grand Prize.

No matter how many votes a submission receives, every entry will be featured on their 2014 Barista Latte Art Showcase page. There you will find amazing creations artistically created as a way of sharing joy and as an expression of appreciation only to know it will be consumed. By featuring them they are enabling the artwork to be experienced by many more people for a much longer time.
