Purk & Associates, P.C., Hires Mark Murdaugh as an Associate

ST. LOUIS - Dec. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- December 10, 2014 (St. Louis) – Purk & Associates, P.C., the leading independently owned St. Louis-based accounting and management advisory firm, recently hired Mark Murdaugh as an Associate.

In his new role, Murdaugh will work in the firm’s Tax and Audit departments, where he will perform audits and reviews, and prepare financial statements and tax returns for corporate, individual, partnership, trust and not-for-profit clients.

Prior to joining Purk & Associates, Murdaugh owned and managed the Murdaugh Agency LLC, a property and casualty insurance agency located in Gunnison, CO. He also spent more than 10 years in the transportation and logistics, and information systems industries working as a National Accounts Manager at Innovative Computing Corporation.

Murdaugh graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Western State Colorado University located in Gunnison, CO, and he also received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Oklahoma City University located in Oklahoma City.
