NEW YORK - Dec. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- Breakdancing has been big in the U.S. and overseas for years, but hasn’t quite broken through mainstream American Sports. Why? Because breakdancing isn’t a sport.

That is about to change this January at the Queens Theatre in New York City when World B-Boy Battle launches the world’s first professional sports competition for Bboys in the history of Hip Hop, Breakdancing and Pro Sports.

World Bboy Battle™ is a pro Bboy sports and entertainment production formatted for TV and online broadcasting and each event requires the hiring of over 40 professionals within the Bboy, Hip Hop, business, film, TV, music and entertainment industries. With 7 championship competitions planned for 2015, 50 for 2016, and 100 for 2017, parent company Xtreme Breakdancing Sports estimates it will create over one thousand jobs within its first three years.

Bboys deserve more
That is the slogan World Bboy Battle™ uses on their Rockethub crowdfunding campaign to raise money to meet their budget for this huge production in exchange for tickets and other goods .

World Bboy Battle™ promises more for its Bboys by providing them with opportunities to win large competition cash prizes and generate revenues from sponsors, endorsements, performances, commercials and merchandising.

There are over 10,000 pro Bboys and considering they are predominantly young adult males from poor families in inner cities, this sports league will provide a significant boost to their earnings, and potentially make millionaires out of champions.

Million Dollar Bboy
This is the catchphrase and three year goal of World Bboy Battle™ to award its annual Bboy sports champion with one million dollars in cash. Generating revenues from sponsors to television licensing CEO Frank Hernandez believes the league can easily make Million Dollar Bboy a reality.

Bboys competing in pro breakdancing competitions are being exploited competing for little to no money which is the reason former pro Bboy and entrepreneur Frank “Sirswift” Hernandez created this new sport. “Breakdancing has gone extreme,” Said Hernandez. “Today’s Bboys are amazing athletes defying gravity and pushing their bodies past human limits. Our competitions bring these skilled and remarkable athletes to the forefront and help them gain the recognition and compensation they deserve.”

World Bboy Battle™ promises to deliver an action-packed extreme breakdancing sports and entertainment experience millennials will engage and follow. Currently there is interest from a major sports network to televise their competitions. Following in the footsteps of the UFC, come January, the chase for the Million Dollar Bboy begins. That’s exciting!
