Mr. Kershman is based out of the firm’s St. Charles office and represents clients in divorce, child support, child custody, guardianship, paternity, domestic violence and many other family law matters. John Kershman has received numerous awards during his time practicing law. He was Lead Counsel Rated for Divorce and Family Law in 2014. Mr. Kershman has also been named a Super Lawyer Rising Star by Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyer Magazine. He has received this award for 5 consecutive years in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.

John Kershman was hired onto Stange Law Firm, PC’s team in February 2013 as a Senior Associate Attorney. He eventually worked his way up and became a Senior Regional Team Leader before this recent promotion to Partner.  As a Senior Regional Team leader, Mr. Kershman help manage the Missouri Offices of Stange Law Firm, PC.

John Kershman is licensed to practice law in Missouri, the Eastern and Western Federal Districts and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.Mr. Kershman earned his B.S. from St. John's University in New York, and his Masters Degree in Business from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri.  Mr. Kershman then attended Washington University Law School where he received his Juris Doctorate.

Mr. Kershman still does work at Washington University Law School where he is an adjunct professor.He teaches Introduction to U.S. Law and Methods in the school’s LLM program.From 2008 to 2011, Mr. Kershman coached the National Civil Rights Appellate Advocacy Team.  His team was a three time reigning National Champion having won the 24th, 25th, and 26th Annual McGee National Civil Rights Competition held at the University of Minnesota.
