C&W Orchestrates 50,000-Sq.-Ft. Industrial Lease in Lakeland, Fla

LAKELAND, Fla. - Dec. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has brokered a 50,000-square-foot, full-building industrial lease at 4950 South Frontage Road in Lakeland. Specialty truck manufacturer McNeilus Financial, Inc. committed to relocating its regional operation to the property from Tampa.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Jared Bonshire, Lee Morris and David Perez, based in the company’s Orlando office, negotiated the long-term lease on behalf of Kennedy Investments, the managing partner of Lakeland Warehouse Partners, LLC, the property owner. The transaction comes just five months after the team was appointed to market 4950 South Frontage Road, which has sat vacant for several years. Lex Goldenberg of The Dikman Company served as tenant broker.

The expansion move will more than triple the size of McNeilus Financial’s central Florida warehouse and light manufacturing operation. An Oshkosh Corporation company, McNeilus is the North American market share leader in refuse and concrete mixer trucks.
