Ayehu Names Laurentiu Stefan of Wizrom Software SRL as its IT Process Automation Superhero of the Mo

Dec. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- In his role as a Systems Engineer, one of the main problems Stefan faced was verifying the availability of the company’s virtual servers and the resources they used, specifically disk drives. Another concern was verification of backup consistency. In an attempt to resolve these issues, Stefan and his team created some windows services that would notify them when a backup was completed, but they were still unable to verify the consistency of that backup.

In 2013, through a collaboration between Ayehu and Wizrom Software, Stefan began using the eyeShare product. His team leveraged the new automation technology to help manage virtual machine availability and, more importantly, conduct backup consistency checks. They are now able to take a proactive approach to reviving virtual machines without having to wait for their clients to notify them that the services are down. As a result, the software engineers are able to focus more time on other important tasks.

“Through simple workflows, now we know immediately when a virtual machine is down and can take the necessary actions to revive it as soon as possible. As an added bonus, the load on the resources is now available to us as soon as thresholds are reached,” noted Stefan. “We now spend much less time in backup verification and we only need to take action when something is wrong. This has vastly improved both our service levels and our operational efficiency.”
