PRLog -- For the charity SHANGHAI HEALING HOME, Chris Golding was invited to host a ‘Charity Fight Night’ event as the evening Emcee. The charity cares for abandoned babies who have surgically correctable facial deformities and prepares them for the Chinese adoption system. Chris also visited the home the following Saturday with a colleague from Gladstone Morgan, Ian Bell, with event organisers and community friends. The proceeds from the event, which raised ¥16,558 RMB were also presented. “It was a privilege to be involved with the fund raiser but more importantly to visit the home and see the actual children that this event was helping” stated Chris. “The standard of care is very high and initially it reminded me of play group days of my own children. It then hits you that these children are abandoned orphans. I feel very humbled to have been involved with such an experience. It was a joy to see them being given such care as part of their preparation for the adoption process.”
