LightGabler Seminar for Businesses: New Employment Laws for 2015 - December 3

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Nov. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Employment law firm LightGabler LLP is presenting a free breakfast seminar for businesses interested in learning about the new employment laws taking effect in 2015. The seminar is Wednesday, December 3 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Mulligan’s Café (Santa Barbara Golf Club, 3500 McCaw Ave., Santa Barbara).

         The 2015 employment law update will discuss such matters as mandatory paid sick time, minimum wage increases, new Fair Employment & Housing Act prohibitions regarding discrimination against undocumented workers, expansion of supervisory training requirements to address prevention of abusive conduct, leaves of absence and expansion of “emergency Rescue Personnel” and new issues involving per-piece pay rates and rest breaks.

         LightGabler employment attorney Jonathan Fraser Light will review the new laws effective in 2015, as well as provide tips arising out of cases and administrative matters decided in 2014.
