Colorado Sign Fabricators Creates Tribute Timeline at Ford Family Amphitheater in Vail, Colo

ARVADA, Colo. - Oct. 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Colorado Sign Fabricators (http://cosignfab.com/) (formerly Independent Signs), a wholesale sign fabrication company, recently partnered with Chevo Studios of Denver to complete a timeline for the Ford Family Tribute at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail, Colo. The tribute honors the entire Ford family for their endowments to the arts and culture of Vail, Colo.

The Colorado Sign Fabricators team worked alongside Chevo Studios owner and lead artist Andy Dufford to create the timeline. Individually- formed acrylic, lettering with stainless steel laminate faces reads, “They brought the world to Vail”.  The letters push through a curved copper timeline composed of an internal frame with copper skin and a patina finish. The letters illuminate at night. The horizontal surface of the timeline includes engraved stainless interpretive plaques. The arc of the timeline is mounted on three stone panels set and carved by Chevo Studios.
