DALLAS - Oct. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Cypress Equities (http://www.cypressequities.com/) companies* (“Cypress”) announced today that its affiliated Cypress Acquisition Partners Retail Fund* (“CAPREF”) has closed on the acquisition of The Corner Shopping Center in Dallas, Texas. The project is a community shopping center, located on the bustling northeast corner of Walnut Hill and the US-75 Central Expressway.

The Corner Shopping Center encompasses 236,050 square feet of retail and office space.  The center’s proximity to the city’s most affluent neighborhoods to the west, and growing millennial population further east and south, made this an attractive addition to the Cypress portfolio.  The property will be repositioned to meet the growing demand for retail and restaurant experiences that provide a community “sense of place”.  Cypress will release additional details about the redevelopment of The Corner Shopping Center, in the coming months.
