Paterson’s Own, Mike Adams of the Indianapolis Colts, Donates to an Elementary School Back Home

PATERSON, N.J. - Oct. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Currently with the Indianapolis Colts, Mike Adams still finds time to give back to the community.  Adams committed to purchasing school supplies to give to the Kindergarten students of Edward W. Kilpatrick Elementary School on Thursday, October 30th.

Adams continues to make a point of working within his hometown and the community he works in.  It is extremely important to him that he never forgets where he came from.

Annually, Mike Adams and the team behind him, hosts’ events to incorporate the public.  “I hold myself accountable to be active within the community.  I want to provide events and resources for the youth because I believe it makes a difference in their upbringing.  A lot of the things I do, I didn’t have as a child and now I am in a position to offer it,” said Adams.

The event for the Kindergarten students of Edward W. About Mike Adams

Mike “Pops” Adams, born March 24, 1981 in Paterson, New Jersey, is currently a Safety with the Indianapolis Colts in the National Football League. He was signed by the San Francisco 49ers (2004-2006) as an undrafted free agent in 2004 and also spent time with the Cleveland Browns (2007-2011), prior to the Denver Broncos (2012-2014).  Adams became an AFC champion with the Broncos his 2013-2014 season and competed in Superbowl XLVIII.
