By: Stonehurst Place Bed & Breakfast, Atlanta
Stonehurst Place is Atlanta’s only B&B participating in the B&Bs Going Blue program. This eco-friendly bed and breakfast inn features deluxe rooms and suites, with gourmet breakfast served to guests each morning.
“Our stay at Stonehurst was beyond luxurious and just what we needed to relax,” said a law enforcement spouse of her recent stay at Stonehurst Place. “I can't imagine a cozier spot to unwind in Atlanta.”
“Someone close to us serves as part of a critical special task force of the Atlanta Police Department" says Barb Shadomy, interior designer and owner of Stonehurst Place. “We greatly appreciate the life risk that law enforcement officers take every day and a good night's rest at Stonehurst Place is our ‘thank you’ to all who have served and those who continue to serve."
About Stonehurst Place
Built in 1896, award-winning Stonehurst Place is Atlanta’s only eco-friendly, luxury Bed & Breakfast Inn. Because it belonged to the same family for over 100 years, this bed and breakfast retains much of its original layout, features and hardware. Guests are treated to the unique combination of restored features of the home and modern luxuries such as heated Carrara marble floors, deluxe two-person spa tubs, and Corian®-clad walk in showers. Owner and interior designer Barb Shadomy’s environmentally friendly work restored and renovated Stonehurst beyond it’s original grandeur, incorporating solar panels and other green features into this eco-friendly Atlanta bed & breakfast inn.
