| ![]() Cardiff Damsels Have Winning WaysCardiff’s Jane Hafren was awarded the title Women’s Role Model at the recent Women Inspiring Women Awards. The awards sponsored by Damsels In Success celebrate fantastic achievement in 10 categories and are for women from across the UK.
By: Damsels in Success Cardiff Jewellery maker Karen Dell’Armi was also shortlisted in the Women’s Role Model category. She was recognised for her creative talents and the work that she does coaching other jewellers and sharing her own entrepreneurial journey with young people. Emma Sorano was shortlisted in the Overcoming Adversity category. Emma has Cerebral Palsy. When she found out she had been shortlisted, she wrote: ‘You know I generally see myself as healthy. I suppose I ride the waves and I embrace change and challenges. I love living and if I'm not here to juice it for all it has to offer, then I'm wasting my time and the gift of existence. Thank you Dr Michelle Clarke for the nomination.’ The fourth Cardiff Damsel to be shortlisted was Prith Biant in the Trainer/Speaker category. The person who nominated Prith describes her as a phenomenal trainer who loves to encourage her clients to play and gives them the space to express themselves in ways that you don't often see in most training sessions. This means that they can shift through blocks and find solutions for their businesses quickly and with ease. Michelle Clarke who is Director for Cardiff Damsels in Success was absolutely thrilled at the achievements of her members. ‘It’s so wonderful to see the brilliance of these four women being recognised and we had a truly fabulous time at the awards. Infact all of my Cardiff members are amazingly talented women and together as a community, utilising the Damsel’s ‘Success With Ease’ model, we support each other to achieve even more in our work and personal lives. Congratulations to Jane, Karen, Emma and Prith and I just know there will be lots more award winners from my Cardiff group in the future.
