Grell's work is his second in the Wizard World variant cover series and follows the first 14 entries in 2014: Miracleman #1 and Miracleman #2, both drawn by Eisner Award Hall of Famer Neal Adams for Portland Comic Con (Jan. 24-26) and New Orleans Comic Con (Feb. 7-9), respectively; “Mike Grell is a legend in the comic industry,” says Marvel SVP Sales & Marketing David Gabriel. “His unique, inimitable style has given birth to some beautiful covers over the years and we’re thrilled he could produce such a stunning Captain America & The Mighty Avengers #1 cover for Wizard World Tulsa.” Grell knows a thing or two about comics... he's been in the industry for more than 40 years, writing and drawing iconic strips and characters from Superboy to Tarzan to Batman.
