Annual City Council Chili Cook Off

DULUTH, Ga. - Oct. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Are you ready to indulge in some good ol’ fashion Chili? If so, come on down to Duluth Town Green and help us judge “who served it best” while listening to some rocking grooves on Duluth Town Green.

The annual City Council Chili Cook Off takes place on Thursday, October 23rd from 6-8pm. The Bicho Brothers will be live in concert performing some of our favorites from Carlos Santana. The Bicho Brothers were scheduled to perform earlier this year, but were unable to due to inclement weather.

“We are really excited about this one. The Bicho Brothers in concert will really add a level of fun to the event” said Event Coordinator Maggie Waddell.

Participants will be judged based on six different criteria: texture, flavor, consistency, spice & taste, aroma, and color. Two winners will be crowned: Chili Champion & People’s Choice. City Council Members will compete in the heated battle. This family friendly event will keep you dancing and grooving.
