A Letter To My Bully Free 3 Day Telesummit

DETROIT - Oct. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Bullying is nothing new. It has always been around for generations. But I think many would agree that the dynamics have changed dramatically. Bullying and school violence has increased and has become more of a threat due to technology, the change of times of how people, from adults to children can handle their emotions and thoughts.

As a parent who children have been bullied severly for years, Sharisa took a stand and created a book collab for her 2 daughters and other young girls, ages 9-14 to share their experiences of being bullied by writing a letter to their bullies. She also included expert insight from 5 women who write about this issue from their professional and personal perspective.

Sharisa wants to take the conversation further by having this 3 day telesummit and not only bring awareness but discuss some ways of prevention. Bully impacts us all, from the victim, the bully, bystanders, parents, schools, and community. This should be a concern for all.

Join Sharisa as she brings awareness to bullying in honor of National Bullying Prevention Month on October 8, 2014, October 15, 2014, and october 22, 2014 @ 9:30EST.

Book Synopsis:

A Letter To My Bully: Sticks, Stones and Words Do Hurt provides an opportunity for young girls ages 9-14 years old  to write an open letter to a bully, all bullies expressing and releasing all of the hurt, resentment, anger and pain that they have experienced, from their perspective. It also includes a bonus section from adult experts who has personal experience concerning this issue.

This collaboration gives firsthand insight that can be great for others being bullied but also provide an eye-opener for bullies to maybe reflect on the negative impact from their actions.
