KENT, Ohio - Oct. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- The 2014 Stevens Family Global Business Etiquette dinners hosted by the College of Business Administration will take place Oct. 22 and Nov. 4 at 5 p.m. at the Kent State Student Center on Kent State University’s main campus.

The Stevens Family Global Business Etiquette dinners are a series of professionally-led etiquette dinners designed to prepare business students for successful interviewing over a meal and be properly equipped with skills to dine with global business partners.

Juniors and seniors in the College of Business Administration are invited to this year’s dinner presentation “Enter Like an Ambassador and Mingle Like a Pro” by facilitator Denise Pietzcsh.

“This event provides an interactive demonstration to students on how to engage in a professional manner over a meal,” said Kristin Williams, director of the College of Business Administration’s Career Services Office. “We know that the likelihood they will find themselves in this setting is high, whether it be for an interview or dining with clients once on the job.”

Pietzcsh, an etiquette expert certified by The Protocol School of Washington and founder of Etiquette and Protocol Image Consultants, LLC, provides etiquette education for those looking to maximize their impact and achieve their goals. Pietzcsh, alumna of The Ohio State University, spent time at Kent State University completing additional coursework prior to attending OSU.

Her series for young professionals focuses on bridging the gap from campus to corporate life, learning to outclass the competition. Pietzcsh will present on her most requested topic among college students, “Enter Like an Ambassador and Mingle Like a Pro.”

The Stevens Family supports the College of Business Administration’s Career Services Office through sponsorship of the Global Business Etiquette Series.

“The Stevens Family, our sponsor for the dinner through 2015, feels strongly about helping college students prepare for the job search process and believes that the more realistic the experience,  the more we help our students stand out from other candidates,” Williams said. “Last year 129 students, mostly seniors, attended the event.  This year we’ve extended our capacity hoping to reach upwards of 500 junior and senior students between the fall and spring semesters.”

The dinner on Oct. 22 will take place at the Student Center Ballroom Balcony and the Nov. 4 location will be at the Student Center in room 306 ABC.

Both dates will feature identical programs including topic, time and meal.
