Xavier technologies On Track with Combo Connector
Companies such as GOe3, NRG/eVgo, UGO stations, & CarChargingGroup are building charging stations across the U.S. and charger manufacturers such as ABB and several others are incorporating both the “combo connector” and the “chademo” (used by Nissan and Mitsubishi) into their chargers.
“We are offering this connector at a substantially lower price than the product that is presently on the market. We are able to do this because we are not a large corporation with stockholders to feed. This is not a big ticket item but it will help decrease the cost of doing an EV conversion for individuals and companies” says Denys Allard, owner and founder of Xavier technologies. He adds, “it has been some time since our initial announcement of this but it was a lengthy process to make sure that the material selection meets (or exceeds) the UL 2251 standard, secure the vendors, etc.” See details at: http://www.xaviertechnologies.com/
