Xinoe Walks The Talk : Paves Way To Brigde The Gap Between Academia & Industry Norms for Recruitment

GURGAON, India - Sept. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- XINOE systems private limited addressed M.tech students at Amity University as a part of the industrial exposure programme organised by the premier university in order to help them resolve their thoughts about a better prospective career.

Xinoe (eXperienced International Network Of Engineers) Systems Private Limited attended an elaborate meeting with the academicians and administrators at Amity School of Engineering and Technology. The meeting was held to discuss as to why students perform well in the university exams but find themselves losing it as soon as they start a job hunt.

Prof.(Dr.)Ravi Prasad, Director,Amity School of Engineering and Technology, called upon Mr.Srinath Nudurupati, co-founder and director of XINOE Systems Private Limited and INXEE Systems Private Limited, to acknowledge the insecurities in the minds of future M.tech grads and reveal a way out. Mr.Nudurupati, a renowned name in the VLSI/Embedded industry in the country, shared his experiences from the time he was working in the design team of Apple Inc.and threw light on the domains India lags in. “There is a great divide between what the curriculum teaches our students and what is required of them when they step out to join a company. It's high time to narrow down this gap.” He urged the students to start early in deciding the field of their interest in which they would like to pursue a career later so that they have ample time to build up strong  fundamentals. “Though VLSI/Embedded are few of the most promising sectors of electronics, the country is in dire need of quality performers  with good grasp of basic electronics and designing concepts”.

Mr.Nudurupati then showed the prototypes of some of the many successful indigenously designed electronic products while the students cheered in admiration. He encouraged the students not to entirely cling to the curriculum based on theoretical studies. “Never cease to innovate.When you can't go back,the only thing you ought to worry about is the best way of moving forward”.

Further into the programme, Ms. Parul Raghav, Senior Technical Marketing Engineer at Xinoe Systems,presented to the students the various ways in which they can be benefitted by the company’s initiative in bridging the gap between academics and industry demands . Ms. Raghav briefed the eager students about the various R&D programs in Embedded/VLSI/CS/IT undertaken by the company, spanning from 4 weeks to 6 months.In these courses, students and young professionals are trained in cutting edge technology by letting them work on latest tools used in the industry. TAR(training and recruitment)/TIP(Industrial training placement)/TEP(technology experience program) are the unique training, placement and recruitment programs that include well organised syllabus and practicals,available both on weekends and weekdays.“Xinoe has adopted a novel approach in generating interest among students by conducting seminars and workshops frequently and providing them with the latest hands-on-tools environment during training sessions ” said Ms.Raghav. “Xinoe plans also to tie up with some prominent colleges and open Centre Of Excellence in their campuses, another top notch approach,wherein Xinoe will act as a resident company to the college providing training to the students as well as absorbing potentially good performers in the company itself.
