As a celebrity line-dance singer, song-writer and teacher, Ms. Spencer has crafted her magical adventure character series drawing on powerful childhood memories. Expressly in, “The Magic of Discovery” Skyla transports young readers to her former West Virginia childhood home. As character lead, Little Skyla readies herself and readers not only for “The Magic of Discovery” but also for future series title adventures. In this debut release, Little Skyla tries on one of her grandmother’s beloved hats – the pink cowgirl hat with rhinestones – resulting in a quest as unique as the hat she discovers. Each title of the series, investigates a new hat, a new discovery and a new CD with an original musical score with lyrics composed by Ms. Spencer herself. For “The Magic of Discovery,” the CD was engineered by Grey Wolf Studios own, Mr. James Hedden. And, features background vocals from Mrs. Tecia Hedden. Currently, Ms. Spencer resides in Nashville, Tennessee where she wears many hats as an entrepreneur / businesswoman. Most evenings find Skyla at the world famous Wildhorse Saloon where she teaches line dancing to tourists and residents of Nashville. Ms. Spencer also acts; choreographs;  models; records voice-overs and writes lyrics. Included among her credits are televised appearances on ABC, CMT, GAC and TLC. Ms. Spencer has also starred in commercials and music videos. She has performed at NFL games as a rising country-western talent. She has interviewed and been written about in many print publications including: CMA Close Up; Country Weekly; Music Row magazine; New Music Weekly; Power Source; Skope; and many more. She was voted one of three top celebrities in Toast of Music City (Nashville, TN) in 2011 and more recently, nominated in 2014. Her country music releases are both national and international billboard successes. In 2009, Ms. Spencer was nominated by New MusicWeekly as the Breakthrough Artist of the Year for her single "This Girl." She co-authored this song, which empowers young girls to chase their dreams.
