Two Shows in One—NAHB IBS 2015 and KBIS 2015

RALEIGH, N.C. - Sept. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- This January, two big shows will share one space. The National Association of Homebuilders Industrial Builders’ Show (NAHB IBS) and the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) will co-locate for the second year in a row, giving exhibitors access to both audiences. Vendors will compete for the attention of an estimated 82,000 attendees in the combined show audience.

“When two huge shows co-locate in the same space like this, it creates an exciting opportunity and also a challenge,” says Zig Zibit founder and President Jake Merzigian. “The high concentration of qualified buyers at an event like this is going to create a much more competitive show floor. You need to have line-of-sight visibility, a well-rehearsed show floor presentation and a high-energy team that’s ready to go non-stop every day of the show.”

The first KBIS event took place in 1981, and the International Builders’ Show has been ongoing since 1944. Both shows have undergone considerable evolution in response to advances in technology, green building and numerous other trends. In 2014, the two shows co-located for the first time.
