FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Sept. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- A record attempt is set to commence tomorrow September 18, 2014. From the beach in beautiful Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Florida, Allen The Grouper Sherrod will enter the Atlantic Ocean using SCUBA equipment for life support in an attempt to remain submerged continuously for 55 hours to set a new world record for longest dive.

Allen Sherrod will be eating, drinking and sleeping while remaining under the water surface and he will be in communication broadcasting to the world using his own invention, the Self Contained Underwater Loud-Speaker - SCULS.

The record attempt requires great support and organization and Brownie’s Marine Group is supporting the event with two of its world famous Brownie’s Third Lung Surface Supplied Air Diving Systems which is going to be useful for supporters tending to Allen Sherrod.

Want to share the experience of being a Mermaid? While the record dive attempt will commence tomorrow, the Mermaids-By-The-Sea event will commence today. A gathering of mermaids from September 17-21, 2014 at the seashore in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea brings mermaids together in beautiful, comfortable, and secure surroundings to gather and share the experience of being a mermaid and mermaids from far and wide are invited to this annual event to meet, greet and make new “mer-friends” in a gorgeous oceanfront tropical setting.

The event is expected to bring a lot of attention and interest from near and far and is a great avenue for Brownie’s Marine Group to showcase products in front of a target audience.
