Sassy Samba Enthusiasts Debut Hot New Shades of Shapewear in 2014

Annabelle Brownell and Betsy Heafitz were looking for an extra boost to enhance their samba costumes that was affordable, comfortable and light. What they found in department stores was heavy and, expensive shapewear that just didn’t feel or fit right. On went the light bulb! It was up to them to make something bigger, better, and fashionable. If there is one thing that UCLA and Dartmouth had taught them, it was to think outside the box..... and, in their case, inside the bra.
On hikes, in school parking lots, and rummaging through their closets, Brownell and Heafitz designed the ideal product and developed a business plan, all while still working their day jobs. Double-Scoop was born. “The immediate results from wearing our fashion inserts were evident to all” said co-founder Heafitz, “We were getting just as many “likes” online from our male viewers as the females. Our friends couldn’t wait to get their Scoops. It’s like a 2-minute boob job.”
“But Double-Scoop isn’t just about Instant Cleavage,” explained co-founder Brownell, “It’s about feeling your best, and having fun, because when you feel good, you look good– from the inside out.” The padded inserts come in a variety of fashion “flavors”, from Sweet Peaches to Black Licorice. “You have options,” added Heafitz. “You don’t need to be matchy-matchy. Layering is trending, and can complement your outfit. These days, it’s ok, and in fact,sexy to show some undergarment – think bra straps and g-strings. They’re not hidden anymore. Who knows who might see them, but just in case, you’re looking good, and you’re owning it. You don’t have this strange silicone jellyfish falling out.”
