Shore Builders Honors BEAM And Industry Award Winners at Associate Appreciation Event

Sept. 5, 2014 - PRLog -- On Wednesday, September 3, 2014 Shore Builders Association celebrated Associate Appreciation Month with a Night of Honor.  The event took place at the Jumping Brook Country Club in Neptune, with many awards presented, including the coveted BEAM Award (Builders Employing Associate Members), which was presented to Danitom Development.

The BEAM Award was conceived as a means to recognize and provide a symbol of respect to the builder member who best exemplifies the significant teamwork of Builder and Associate members doing business together. Past recipients of this prestigious award include The Kokes Organization, Severino Homes & Communities, Pr1ma Corporation, Walters Homes and Palatial Homes.   This year’s recipient, Danitom Development, has been building homes and developing properties since 1992. The company prides itself on the close relationships it maintains with its customers – relationships personally cultivated by President and Co-founder Tom Critelli. According to John Cummings, President of Shore Builders Association, “It is with great pleasure that we, as an association, honor those members who exemplify the spirit of our industry and association in their dedication, leadership and continuous support.”

In addition to the presentation of the BEAM Award, there were several industry awards presented for the following categories:

Associate Continuing Service – Tom Villane, Design 446

Associate Hall of Fame, Company – Cowan Gunteski & Co., P.A.

Associate Hall of Fame, Individual – Bob Gallo, NJ Natural Gas

Associate of the Year – Stephanie Shaffery, Flair Marketing Group

Builder Continuous Service Award – Arvo Prima, Pr1ma Builders

Builder Hall of Fame – Len Sendelsky, Leguy Construction Group

Builder of the Year – James Pittenger, Pittenger Builders

Cornerstone Award – Michelle Madden, Ferguson Enterprises

Jack Meyer Memorial Rookie of the Year Award – Chris Amato, CMM Construction

Remodelers of the Year – Matthew Walters, Walters ReBuild

As well as member awards, the event last night included an award for Legislator of the Year, which was presented to Senator Robert Singer.  Representing the 30^th District, which covers parts of Ocean, Monmouth, Burlington and Mercer Counties, Senator Singer has served in the legislature for over twenty years.  He has consistently been an advocate of the building industry and its connection to economic growth within the state.
