The monitoring of hosts and services carried out by Sentinet³  is carried out via freely definable checks performed at predefined time intervals to verify operational status. In the event that a "critical" status -as defined during the configuration phase- was detected, the system forwards a notification via e-mail and/or SMS to the preset management contacts responsible for the hosts and services above.
