Georgia's Lanier Islands to Host “Last Blast of Summer” Themed Labor Day Weekend

BUFORD, Ga. - Aug. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Although Summer 2014 doesn’t officially come to a close until September 22 and the LanierWorld season remains in full swing on weekends until September 7, Georgia’s Lanier Islands is making plans for a “Last Blast of Summer” themed Labor Day Weekend of epic proportions. Set to take place at the popular lakeside destination’s beach, boardwalk and waterpark district, the celebration will encompass four full days of fun from Friday, August 29 through Monday, September 1. The four-day event is sponsored in part by 97.1 The River and Miller Lite®, featuring special giveaways all weekend long – including suite tickets to an Atlanta Falcons game.

·  Live performance by Old School Horn Band from 6-10 pm on Sunset Cove stage

Sunday, August 31
