Worcester Acute Hospitals Trust launches new HCL Clarity system

By: HCL Clarity

Aug. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Following on from a very successful 18 month pilot with HCL Clarity, in which HCL’s managed services solution helped Worcester Acute Hospitals Trust (WAHT) to save in excess of £1million on its agency spend, the Trust is launching HCL Clarity’s new neutral vendor system on 18 August 2014.

The new system aims to further reduce the Trust’s dependency on agency staff and achieve further savings through more effective use of bank staff. With additional automated functionality it will facilitate faster and more cost effective filling of shifts.

A further key element of the new system includes the implementation of the Direct Engagement model which allows the Trust to engage directly with agency workers.

Amanda Nicholls, Commercial Manager, HCL Clarity, says of the launch ‘We are very pleased to be building on our success with the Trust by launching this new system. Since the beginning of our partnership in February 2013, we have already helped the Trust to save an indicative £1.3million, and with the further efficiencies that this update aims to provide, we anticipate even greater achievements to come’.
