MP can’t live in London on £120,000 a year, but how much do the self-employed live on?

Nearly one in seven Britons are now self-employed, but they earn 40% less than those with a ‘job’. Why is this? I believe that the problem that we face today stems from the fact that we are encouraged to set up our own businesses.

OXTED, U.K. - Aug. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- We are encouraged to create a business from something we have passion about, something that has a story behind it and something that fuels us to get out of bed in the morning. Entrepreneurs are sold snake oil by many marketers with promises of creating a lifestyle business, which earns us lots of money, but without having to work for it.

On the plus side this often gives self employed professionals hope, it enables them to get out and stay out of the rat race of working 50 hour weeks and trying to keep their jobs. However it often leaves the self employed working 70 hours a week trying to create a business, tired, exhausted and burnt out.  This then effects their ability to continue in a job and the previously passionate self employed end up on relying on benefits, whilst they are signed off sick with stress.

The other problem with following your passion is that it doesn’t automatically mean that you will earn more than the average self employed professional; which is estimated at around £30,393. And a high self-employed earning is around £52,500.  If MP Mark Simmons can’t live in London on £120,000 a year with three children, then how are those who earn an average wage, let alone a ‘high’ wage of £52,500 a year expected to live.

27% of those who became self-employed over the past five years do so because they have no choice. However no one teaches them how to run a business.  Whether you are a personal trainer, yoga teacher or life coach, you spend a long time qualifying in your chosen field, yet never spend any time on training how to get clients and raise your brand so you can make money.

However this is where the Clients In Abundance Business Academy comes in.  Clients in Abundance was set up for health and wellness professionals that love what they do, for those that have a message to share with the world but are unable to get clients.

The Business Academy has been set up for online training, face to face training and mentorship and accountability to enable those in the health and wellness industry to have success.  And it shows how to earn more than if working for someone else!

The Clients In Abundance Business Academy was founded by Amanda Watts, who, alongside her husband, launched a platform for people to come and learn, to grow and feed their mind, and overcome the complete minefield and overwhelm that is running a business and marketing it in this digital age.

It is the only Business Academy for the Health and Wellness Industry that has a step by step process that works on ‘knowing your WHY’, having the right mindset, and then creating the correct marketing message, and only after knowing these tings does it start teaching marketing and business tactics that get her clients into six figure incomes, whilst often only working 4 days a week.

Here is what Paul Miller says about the Clients In Abundance Business Academy:

“I highly recommend and endorse this Programme to anyone in the Health and Fitness industry that is genuinely serious about growing their business. The amount of knowledge and application I have had from this course has been invaluable. Thank you so much Amanda and the CIA family!

This Programme is by far and away the best marketing experience I have had. I cannot thank Amanda enough for her guidance and support. She is tough enough to give you a boot when you need it and soft enough to empathize when necessary. Either way, with dedication and drive on your end, her wisdom will help you excel.”

Amanda’s mission and vision is clear.  She wants to teach the piece of the puzzle that most health and wellness business are missing.  The bit that no amount of qualifications can give you:  How to run a health and wellness business that has an abundance of clients, makes money, but without burnout.
