This catering package is ideal for customers who wish to uphold the tradition of family gatherings during holiday meals, but who may not have the time to rush around shopping or spend hours cooking over a hot stove. Today, with more families who do not have the time to prepare a holiday meal because of their hectic work and life schedules, Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen Restaurant & Caterers is helping keep the tradition alive. Ben’s Catered Holiday Dinner comes with twelve mini-stuffed cabbage plus a choice of either one quart of chopped liver or ten pieces of gefilte fish; four quarts of chicken soup with twelve matzo balls; a choice of three entrées: five roast chickens, a whole roast turkey (15 lbs. average) or four pounds of sliced brisket (brisket is an additional $10); and a choice of two sides (string beans almondine, egg barley and mushrooms, kasha varnishkes, broccoli almondine, sweet potato pudding, noodle pudding, or potato pudding). Accompaniments include one quart of cranberry-pineapple compote, one quart of carrot tsimmes, round challah, and one quart of fresh-cut cole slaw; and fresh-baked rugalach for dessert. A large fruit salad bowl is also available for an additional $29.99. The holiday dinner package is available for only $339.99. Those who purchase Ben’s complete holiday dinner by September 19th will receive three “BUY-1-GET- Ben’s takeout counter is also the ideal place to pick up last-minute holiday items, anything from the main course to soups, side dishes, salads or dessert. Phone orders for takeout are accepted for orders of $100 or more, at least 24 hours in advance. Walk-ins are always welcomed.
