Your True Colours, Dramatic Jewelry, Teachers Talk Frankly

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Aug. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Fashion Academy introduces their new magazine.  After years of hearing people’s frustrations over fashion magazines, fashion designers, and lifestyle magazines, we have taken those concerns and created a fashion/lifestyle magazine.  One with the reader truly in mind.  Our ads will never demean women or men.  Our ads will never have sexually suggestive or explicit poses or situations.  The companies that we spotlight are small, for the most part, and need a venue to market their wares.  We focus heavily on fashion, however, we will have business and lifestyle articles, as well.

Our August issue focuses on back to school, with a bit of fall fashion.

Artist Jane Croy is spotlighted, and she extended that spotlight to talk about her inspiring encounter with a student from when she taught art.  Teacher Bruce McKinzie prepares the family for school.  Another elementary school teacher gets frank about what the teacher really needs to know that parents are sometimes embarrased to admit, to the detriment of the child's progress.  Frances Fabian, PhD., prepares the family for college.  Jo Garner, mortagage officer with Evolve Mortgage discusses student loans and homeownership.  The Knowledge Tree helps with the economics of school supplies.  Catherine Basu presents a fitness plan for teachers, specifically.  And Lee Cameron answers the question, 'What if College is not for Me?"

Our business articles this month come from Shelley Baur, Integrity Based Communications.  She presents methods to build authentic relationships.  Jerrilynn Thomas guides you through the LinkedIn company page maze.

Our Family Focus articles come from Karl Beckstrand and books to read to the kids, some of which have interactive activites.  Steven Chambers instructs on the many methods of outdoor cooking.

Great Finds this month is all about positive image songs from One Direction, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, the cast of Glee, Pink, Roy Orbison, Orianthi, Selena Gomez and Colbie Caillat.

Our Inner Image columns start with Laughter Lawyer and the Beauty of Resilence.  Kally Efros presents healthy school lunches.  Our goal setting this month focuses on Giving Service.

Our celebrity story by Sherry O'Connor is on Anna Kaelin.  She came from terrifying accident that left her paralyzed to compteting in Americal Idol.  She is now in Nashville.

Our Fashion columns feature Yan Neo clothing out of the United Kingdom in the Cool/Warm Skin Tone article.  Your True Colours Everyday Woman spotlight is on Sera Finaperri from Australia.  Your True Colours Transformation features Ted Cortese transforming a young hair colorist who had begun to think her clientelle was growing because of her overly dramatic hair.  Boyer NY jewelry receives the YTC Endorsement for quality.

Fashion and Beauty spotlights Etienne Raff Paris, a men's skin care line made in France.  Bustees, a new bathing suit company whose owner was fed up with poorly designed clothing for women with large bust lines.  Dr. Amir Toren introduces his new skin care line using a unique delivery system from the sea, StarletDerma.  Melinda Lewis returns with an article on vintage jewelry and Fall's trends.  Lisa Byrd Thomas also returns with a fashion spread on Fall's fashion, via vintage.  Our Hands for Hope explain their mission, and display the handmade items from the women of Peru.  A new app for shopping, Gift Share Love has its debut.  And, our cover story is the jewelry of Katerina Musetti; beautifully designed by Musetti.  This jewelry is a must see, it can go from jeans to a wedding gown to a black tie event.
