Genesis Community Health to provide free health services during National Health Center Week

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Aug. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- WHAT:
Genesis Community Health, a non-profit health center dedicated to serving patients of all economic levels, is inviting Palm Beach County residents to get on board by making Genesis their “medical home” during National Health Center Week , August 10-16.

Every day of National Health Center Week, Genesis will be providing FREE programming and services to address the major health problems in the community, according to DeAnna Warren, Chief Executive Officer of Genesis Community Health.

Monday, August 11 – Free nutrition class and cooking demonstration at Pompey Park Recreation Center 1101 NW 2nd Street Delray Beach, FL 33444

Tuesday, August 12 –Free dental screenings from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Genesis Community Health 564 E Woolbright Road Boynton Beach, FL 33435

Wednesday, August 13 –National Health Care for the Homeless Day; Genesis will partner with Project Homeless Connect and provide free physicals, dental screenings, blood glucose and cholesterol levels, and HIV testing. Project Connect will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the American Polish Club 4725 Lake Worth Road, Greenacres, FL 33463

Thursday, August 14 –Employee Appreciation Day; employees will be treated to free breakfast as a token of thanks for all their hard work

Friday, August 15 –Patient Appreciation Day; Invited patients will receive free hemoglobin A1c blood test and free breakfast at Genesis Community Health 564 E Woolbright Road Boynton Beach, FL 33435

FREE HIV testing will be offered every day of National Health Center Week.
