Dr. Mark Skousen Shares Insights on Famed Economist Milton Friedman

LENEXA, Kan. - July 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Milton Friedman was a renowned economist and statistician who received the Nobel Prize and put the University of Chicago’s school of economics on the map. For most people, Friedman was a figure studied in the classroom. For Dr. Mark Skousen, honorary dean of Grantham University’s Mark Skousen School of Business (http://www.grantham.edu/school-of-business/), Friedman was a friend with whom he enjoyed spirited debates on their differences in theories and viewpoints on economics.

On Thursday, July 31, at 6:30 p.m., Dr. Skousen will present, “Milton's Paradise: My Friendly Fights with Milton Friedman” at Kansas City’s Central Library (14 W. 10^th St., Kansas City, Mo., 64105). During the presentation, Dr. Skousen will share stories from his long friendship with the libertarian icon.

After the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, and Dr. Skousen will be on hand to autograph his book, “Vienna & Chicago, Friends or Foes?: A Tale of Two Schools of Free-Market Economics.” Admission to attend the presentation is free, but seating is limited.
