TAKII Premiers Philly's Next Top Cosplayer!

UPPER DARBY, Pa. - July 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Charisma. Uniqueness. Nerve. Talent. These are some of the most important qualities one must possess in order to be successful. But do you have what it takes to be the best in the world at what you do in a universe of costumed illusions? If so, put your skills that pay the bills to the test in Philly's Next Top Cosplayer! Produced by The Asian Karaoke Idol Invitational, it premiers the "City Of Brotherly Love"'s 1st-ever, reality show-style cosplay competition during the ENTIRE month of October 2014. And if you know anything about "the world's most extreme Asian culture fusion festival", it's that we take everything we do "to the extreme" (^_*).

Those wishing to compete will be asked to fill out a brief entry form (located here: http://www.pdnmz.com/forms/index.php?sid=31158&lang=en). After a brief evaluation process, our top entrants will be revealed as PNTC contestants & teamed up with mentors (sensei) from the realm of Asian culture fandom (each one master in their field(s) of interest). These groupings will then do battle in a dizzying series of challenges to measure their collective & individual physical & emotional acumen in the cosplay arena. And on a pre-scheduled basis, cosplay fans worldwide will be able to vote through (via a variety of methods) their favorites to the next stage(s), while the bottom cast members duel each other for a chance at redemption & survival. By having THEIR fate in YOUR hands, ANYTHING is possible!

This process will repeat itself until only a few people are left & will culminate with Philly's Next Top Cosplayer ~FINALE~ to be held LIVE at 1 of TAKII's newest venue partners, INE Studios (8 N. Preston St., Philadelphia, PA 19104) on October 25th, 2014 (from 4:00pm - 10:00pm EST)! A multimedia complex like none other, it will feature 4 floors of non-stop entertainment, including cosplay-centric vendors, cosplay-themed "X-Treme X-Posé" panels, & performances from the entire cast of the show. At the end of the evening, we will crown the 1st-ever Philly's Next Top Cosplayer Champion & the winner will earn a SICK'NING set of prizes (including cosplay commission gift certificates, a complimentary photo shoot, & a guest/performer spot at TAKII 18 ~Brand New World~)! The fun won't stop there, as we will then play host to the HOTTEST edition of "Ota-Rave ~PDNMZ: AMEN LiVE~" in TAKII history (an out-of-this-world dance party, 2nd-to-none)!
