PROVIDENCE, R.I. - July 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Invest in Yourself — A Financial Workshop for Women, is an educational workshop geared toward the unique challenges and financial choices women face.

It will be held on three dates: on July 29^th at 10:00am at the Rochambeau Library in Providence, on August 5^th at 6pm at the Regency Plaza in Downtown Providence, and on August 12th at 4pm at the Rochambeau Library to accommodate different schedules.  Michelle Cortes-Harkins of Harkins Wealth Management, LLC will conduct the seminar, developed in conjunction with John Hancock Funds.

Regardless of your age or experience, you have important stories concerning your financial well-being, to share with members of your family, women at work and your peers and friends. The workshop offers case studies for discussion purposes, and encourages audience participation. You’ll also gain actionable ideas and steps to help you on the road to financial independence.
