The NetFlow-Lite Configuration on Cisco 2960-X Series Switches

July 8, 2014 - PRLog -- The characteristics of NetFlow-Lite on 2960-x series

1 NetFlow-Lite is supported on LAN Base or IP Lite SKUs only.

2 NetFlow-Lite is supported in Mixed Stack, on 2960-X series ports only.

3 Only Sampled NetFlow is supported.

4 Ingress flows are only monitored.

5 Flows are monitored on Physical Ports and VLAN Interfaces(SVI).

6 One monitor per interface is supported.

7 Permanent and Normal Cache are supported for the monitor.

8 NetFlow Version 9 is supported for Exporter.

9 Deterministic Sampler is not shared. Every attachment with same Deterministic Sampler uses up one free sampler.

10 Random Sampler is shared. Only one sampler is used when Random Sampler is attached to different Ports or SVIs.
